Mees de Graaf, after being framed by his friend to start sailing Optimist, this fanatic sailor could no longer get rid of the sailing flu. When he heard that there were also competitions, the competitive young sailor could not let go. So he got his first Optimist named the Need for Speed. Mees certainly has the need for speed. After his career in the Optimist class, he has proven himself in the Laser 4.7, Laser Radial and Laser standard in which he achieved the national talent teams several times. At the age of 18 he decided to focus on his study of Aerospace engineering instead. Now the boy with the need for speed has found a new challenge in the fareast 28R at DelftChallenge.
